M·A·C stands for “Make-up Art Cosmetics” – and it is one of the worldwide leading brands of professional cosmetics. It was started in Toronto, Canada in 1985 and is now part of Estee Lauder.
MAC products are regularly used on the fashion industry’s catwalks and on models on the pages of leading magazines.
The Mac Cosmetics UK website only delivers to UK addresses – but Irish MAC fans can buy it online from a couple of places. Genuine MAC make-up is available to buy in Ireland from the sites below.
Stockists of MAC in Ireland:
You can buy MAC cosmetics at Brown Thomas shops in Ireland –
Harvey Nichols in Dundrum doesn’t sell MAC. Debenhams in Ireland doesn’t sell MAC either.
Because it is so popular – and more expensive than other cosmetics – MAC suffers a lot from counterfeiting. There are usually “MAC” cosmetics for sale on eBay.ie – but beware of fakes.
M·A·C products are only sold directly by them or by authorised retail store accounts, the majority of which are located in major department stores or international perfumeries.
